不定詞(1)の問題演習_解説
A. 1.ｳ To study ：名詞的用法です。「勉強すること」が主語なので、不定詞のTo study で始めます。
2.ｲ to eat：形容詞的用法です。to eat がsomething を修飾します。
3.ｳ to see：副詞的用法です。to seeは、「～するために」と訳し、動詞 wentを修飾します。
4.ｲ something cold：-thing の名詞を修飾する場合、形容詞は後置します。
5.ｱ with： pen を後ろに持ってくると、write with a pen となることから、with を選択します。
B. 1.(to)(get)：to get が形容詞 happyを修飾する副詞的用法です。「～して･･･」
2.(to)(do)：to do が名詞の work を修飾する形容詞的用法です。「～すべき･･･」
3.(to)(read)：to read が went を修飾する副詞的用法です。「～するために」。
4.(to)(talk)(with)：to talk with が名詞 friends を修飾する形容詞的用法です。「～すべき･･･」
5.(the)(lake)(to)：to swim が動詞 went を修飾する副詞的用法です「～するために」。
C. 1.many places to visit：to visit が名詞の places を修飾する形容詞的用法。
2.tried to study English：「～しようとする」は、try to do~で、目的語になる名詞的用法。
3.something hot to drink： something＋形容詞＋to do 。
4.wish is to become：直訳は、「彼の望みは先生になることです。」という、補語になる名詞的用法。
5.any houses to live in：houses を to live in が修飾しています。「中に住むための家」と繋がる、形容詞的用法です。
