このページでは、比較級･最上級の不規則変化テストやnot as…as~(～ほど…でない)、one of the 最上級＋名詞の複数形～(もっとも～なうちのひとつ)、much＋比較級～(…よりずっと～)などを問題にしています。

比較(1)の問題演習_解説
B. 1.ｱ hard ：as 原級~ as… で、「…と同じくらい～」
2.ｳ tall：not as 原級~ as… で、「…ほど～でない」
3.ｳ better：後ろに than があるので、比較級の betterです。
4.ｳ much：much＋比較級～で、「…よりもずっと～」。程度の差が大きい場合、比較級を強調することが出来ます。
5.ｳ hottest：最上級はthe＋~est。hot は短母音＋子音字なので、hottest と、tを重ねて -est にします。
C. 1.of：of＋複数,in＋範囲(単数) のように、of,inの使い分けをしましょう。
2.more slowly：長い形容詞･副詞は、more＋原級で比較級にします。
3.oldest cities：one of the 最上級＋複数形～ で、「もっとも～なうちのひとつ」
4.not as(so) as：not as(so) 原級~ as… で、「…ほど～ではない」
5.twice as as：twice as 原級~ as… で、「…の2倍～だ」
D. 1.the work more carefully：長い形容詞・副詞は、more 原級＋than です。
2.about five times as large：about X times as 原級~ as… で、「…の約X倍～」
3.much faster than：much＋比較級～で、「…よりもずっと～」。more が余分な語です。
4.one of the most beautiful parks：one of the 最上級＋複数形～ で、「もっとも～なうちのひとつ」。parks と複数形にしましょう。
5.taller than any other boy：比較級~ than any other 単数名詞… 「ほかのどんな…よりも～」。単数名詞の boy が不足しています。
as…as A can~, 比較級 and 比較級～など： → 比較(2)
